Worknest Workspaces ("Worknest", "we", "us", or "our") is a workplace and team collaboration Chrome extension. This Privacy Policy explains what information Worknest collects, how it is used, stored, and shared, and the choices available to users.
We may collect your name, email address, and authentication information needed to create and securely access your Worknest account.
We may store workspace names, membership information, roles, and related membership dates.
We may store task titles, descriptions, assignments, priorities, due dates, completion status, and related workspace activity that users submit.
Messages sent through workspace chat are stored so authorized members can view conversation history and use the chat feature.
We may process online status and last-seen information when workspace presence features are used.
Worknest may use Chrome extension storage for authentication/session information and application settings needed for the extension to function.
Worknest does not sell users' personal information.
Information may be visible to other members of a workspace when required by the feature being used. For example, workspace members may see relevant member information, tasks, and messages shared within that workspace.
We may use service providers for hosting, database, infrastructure, security, and technical operations. Such providers may process information as necessary to provide services to Worknest.
We may disclose information when required by applicable law, legal process, or a valid governmental request, or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, and security of Worknest or its users.
Worknest uses server-side infrastructure and a database to store account, workspace, task, membership, and chat information. Production service connections use HTTPS.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No internet service or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Worknest, maintain workspace functionality, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce applicable agreements.
Workspace content such as tasks and chat messages may remain available to authorized workspace members until deleted through available product functionality or otherwise removed through account or service administration.
You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your account, subject to applicable law and legitimate operational or legal requirements.
If you stop using Worknest, you may contact us regarding your account and associated data.
Worknest is intended for workplace and professional collaboration and is not directed toward children. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information in violation of applicable law.
Worknest may rely on third-party infrastructure and service providers to operate its backend and database. Those providers may have separate privacy policies and practices.
We may update this Privacy Policy when our service, legal requirements, or data practices change. The "Last updated" date will be updated when changes are made.
